Truly a fabulous experience. Anyone who loves wildlife and appreciates nature, must make a trip to Kenya. We stayed at Mara Sopa Lodge and i am pleased to say that the place as well as the hospitality was truly great. We had a short but a real sweet trip to the native place of the Masai.
Our trip began on Monday Sep 29th when we arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and moved straight to the Parklands Sports Club for breakfast.
Immediately after breakfast we decided to proceed straight to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Considering that our flight had been delayed we were fearing that we would reach the Mara Sopa Lodge, where we were booked, quite late for lunch. However thanks to our efficient driver we really covered the distance quite well considering the real pathetic condition of the road from Nairobi to Mara. In fact the roads were the only bad thing during the entire trip. So 
we did finally arrive at the Mara Sopa lodge a little late for lunch but the managers there still allowed us lunch and what a lunch it was. Great food, well cooked and well arranged! Cheers to the Chef at Mara Sopa.
